The Royal Oak

Dartford has one road with two wetherspoons on it.. that says a lot.
If you want to go out for a nice evening there are limited options that won't be rammed with people.
The Royal Oak is, for me, a solid option. Right at the end of the high street it is a nice place to go for a few drinks.
It is a more expensive option. A large glass of wine is £4.80. But the high prices generally means a better atmosphere.
There is a juke box and sport is frequently shown. A fairly good selection of drinks. An outdoor area, with heating and cover.
Currently the biggest problem is there is no card payments so taking cash is essential.

Overall verdict: yes.
